Types of Water from a Japan Kangen Water Machine

When you drink water from a Japan Kangen water machine, there are several health benefits to it such as an increase in alkaline levels in the body. This leads to a decrease in health issues and dependence on medications.

But why is a Kangen water machine generally related to Japan though it is manufactured in many countries? It is because the word Kangen is Japanese for “return to origin”, or rather going to the roots of good health through alkaline water. Moreover, the technology of a Kangen water machine was first developed in Japan and the machines are made from the finest components manufactured in that country. Hence, the name Japan Kangen water machine, regardless of where it is made.

A Japan Kangen water machine is small enough to fit under a kitchen sink and is connected to the existing cold-water line. The water ionizing process starts with a lever being activated and the selection of the desired PH level. The alkalinity or acidic properties of water are set in PH (potential of hydrogen) and are a measure of the number of hydrogen ions present in the water. High PH denotes greater alkalinity and low PH means more acidic water.

Separating water into alkaline and acidic water is a complex process and is done in a chamber in the machine having positive-charged thin platinum-coated titanium plates. When tap water is passed over the plates, it is iodized and separated into positively charged ions (alkaline water) and negatively charged ions (acidic water).

This process with the JapanKangen water machine does not change the properties of the water in any way but only its PH value.
